Hull Liberal Democrats have submitted 57 nomination papers to Hull City Council ahead of next month's local elections – a full slate of candidates to challenge the Labour administration and deliver real change for the city.
Candidates include long-serving local councillors as well as new faces. And with 30 women and 27 men putting their name forward, the group has achieved gender balance without the need for all-women shortlists.
We want to ensure that every resident can be represented by a strong local champion.
For too long, residents have been taken for granted by Labour. This year we want everyone to know that they have a Lib Dem team to vote for – who will listen and work to deliver real change in our city.
