A local councillor in North Hull has raised concerns about the power supply to the HU6 area after the area was hit by yet more power cuts.
Councillor Dave McCobb has been contacted by a number of people in the area who have complained of power cuts and fluctuations in the power supply.
Dave said: “Back in the summer the area was hit by a series of power cuts. At the time, Northern Power assured me that the fault had been fixed.
“But there was yet another power cut last month – leaving hundreds of homes in the dark.
“I have written to Northern Power asking for assurance that they know about this problem and calling on them to it.”
“With winter almost upon us, a good consistent power supply is more important than ever. I want proper assurances from the power companies that homes in our area won’t be left in the dark over the dark winter months.”
