Chris Randall is the Lib Dem Councillor re-standing for the West Carr Ward in this May's 2021 local elections.
Covering Sutton Park & west Bransholme areas.
About me:
I was born in Hull and grew up in the North of the City. I went to school at West Dock Avenue, Francis Askew and Sir Henry Cooper School before joining the army. After 22 years of service I moved back to Hull with my family and I have lived here ever since.
A community champion:
I have been a local scout leader, and a Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme leader. I have also been heavily involved in the Endike Community Care Centre caring for elderly residents in the North of the city.
Real world experience:
Since leaving the army I have worked for Serco, the Methodist Church and for a Market Research company. I have 10 year’s experience as a local councillor during which time I have chaired Hull’s housing scrutiny committee.
Working hard for West Carr Ward:
I have also made real progress tackling derelict buildings in the area. The old farm depot on Soffham Close and the NHS facility on Nidderdale have been demolished, and the NHS building on Stroud Crescent has been secured following recent fires and vandalism.
