Linda Tock is the Lib Dem Councillor re-standing for the Holderness Ward in this May's 2021 local elections.
Covering Stoneferry, East Park and the Holderness Road & James Reckitt Avenue areas.
About me:
I was born and raised in East Hull in the Newbridge Road area. I attended Sacred Heart Primary and St Richards High School - both of which are no longer there sadly but I know a lot of local people remember them as fondly as I do.
A community champion:
I am a trustee of the Council for Voluntary Service, and in the past I have been an independent visitor for children in care and a volunteer with the Cornerhouse family planning centre.
Real world experience:
Some of my previous jobs include teaching in prisons and working on community projects to help those with substance addictions. I have also taught abroad in places such as Mongolia and Africa.
Working hard for Holderness Ward:
I have led on a project that has renovated and refreshed the Veterans Pavilion over recent months. It will be available for the community to book and access once we are allowed to meet again. We have also arranged for large planters to be erected so people can grow their own vegetables and flowers.
