Image of University

The ward which contains the university runs from Cottingham Road in the south to Greenwood Avenue in the north, and from Beverley Road in the east to the city boundary with Cottingham in the west. Principal thoroughfares include Inglemire Lane, Cranbrook Avenue and parts of Hall Road Endike Lane. While there is much Victorian and Edwardian housing close the the university itself, much of the housing in the ward is pre-war social housing such as North Hull Estate.
