Forming most of the ward's western boundary, Beverley Road gives this ward its name. The ward stretches from Clough Road in the south to the city boundary in the north, and hugs the River Hull to its east. Beverley ward has a suburban character, and much of its housing is large, pre-war and privately owned, but to the northern end there are some modern developments.
