28 Sep 2009 - Grass Verges on Ella Street
We have received complaints from residents about cars being parked on the grass verges on Ella Street, making them muddy. Your local Lib Dem team are trailing a new scheme of planting flower beds on the verges, and involving Ella Street residents on deciding how these flower beds should look. ‘The flower beds will prevent parking on the verges, and residents of Ella Street will have the opportunity to decide what is planted on the beds,’ said Dave Woods. ‘Look out for more information about this over the next few months,’ said John Robinson.
